UX writing case study

I have written error messages content for labels, buttons etc for universities and government.

University of Melbourne

I was contracted by the University of Melbourne as a UX writer for Melbourne Connect, a digital identity project. This project used the following content types:

  • web copy
  • emails
  • forms
  • labels
  • input fields
  • buttons
  • cards
  • navigation
  • footers.

Software used

This project was done in conjunction with developers and service designers. We used Figma and Word to develop files and content patterns.

Project successes

By applying a user-centric focus on content and design we were able to design sign in screen and instructions that were easy to read and navigate. I also wrote content patterns and error message guidelines to be used across the University of Melbourne on similar projects.
